I knew someone who couldn’t feel pain. They once dropped a knife on their foot and didn’t notice until they went to tie their shoe, and by then they were woozy from blood loss. They ended up infected and had their foot amputated. We feel pain to protect us, not feeling it is dangerous for us.

super strength should go above fearlessness (in my opinion) because fear is like pain, its not fun to experience but it keeps us alive. i have anxiety and although it can be debilitating, id rather not be able to make phone calls than not have the adrenal urge to survive in a bad situation

Deepak's case was pretty disturbing. Every once in a while, the underdeveloped remnants of his brother's nervous system would just _twitch_ a limb.

I dated a bipolar girl once. she didn't know she was bipolar at the time, me neither. She was into maniac mode.
Her charisma was unparalleled. She was so easy going, very fun, very smart, she always had a ton of energy, to work, to meet people, to party, for sex, she was the ultimate extrovert. Once she went to see a stand up show and she ended up on stage improvising, and people loved it.
Once we met on a date and she had a guy with her. "It's my driver" she said.
Turns out she took this uber the day before and the guy was crying cause he couldn't send something to his mom, in another country, to save her life. Without skiping a beat, she lended him the money. I bet he was as surprised as I was when I heard it. So he promised to drive her everywhere for free until he can pay her back.
Everytime we met I was so in awe at her boundless personality. I really admired her. To me being in maniac mode was a superpower

The way you jump straight into the facts without an introduction is a memorable structure. That and your art style kept me engaged.

5:01 I have CIP and once I broke a bone when I fell down the stairs and I was like “I’m completely fine” then I got up and saw my leg broken lol
Edit: I’m answering some regular questions that are on my replies box so here are 2 because I’m lazy tbh
1. People who say this is fake it’s not I really have CIP but some weirdo told me to make a video hurting myself (AnAverageOSCFan) but there’s other ways to prove it like medical notes
2. this isn’t great and you shouldn’t envy it, all opposite is horrible and I developed anxiety from not knowing what is happening inside me, this didn’t something you wouldn’t want to have and be happy you don’t have CIP
3. CIP is a very rare condition where the affected people don’t feel pain because their pain receptors do not work properly
4. My most severe injury was a Brain haemorrhage (a stroke) that I got because of a Concussion or at least that’s what I think

I love how “minimalistically drawn horrific knowledge vids” is a genre now

I do have a kind of disorder called Lynch syndrome and it actually gave me half of Deadpool's super powers, since now I have cancer.

Ironically, I can't imagine super-memory in anyway being a superpower, memory distortion over time is already a super power of the brain as it lets the mind cope with the extreme stress of living out a full life of near constant stress and traumatic life events. PTSD is the archenemy of being able to forget.

I have one: mysophonia.
Pros:
Grants hypersensitive hearing
Cons: gets agitated very quickly by certain sounds.

Gets overstimulated quite often by the slightest sounds people cant even hear.

Cant turn it off.

Though I don’t have perfect memory, I have a photographic memory. The problems with that being that
1. I can’t remember verbal information very well. I remember people’s faces easily, but have a hard time remembering their names
2. As mentioned, I can’t choose what I want to remember or forget. In fact, the more I want to forget something, the more I remember it. I have perfect 4K ultra HD memories of every embarrassing thing I have done.
3. Just because I can remember something doesn’t mean I can remember the circumstances surrounding it.

Edit to help people understand: I can remember individual frames, but remembering full videos takes a lot of repeated watching.

As a person with autism disorder, and adhd, i would say my superpower is to
*have more emotional pain.*

Not feeling fear or not feeling pain sounds more like a curse than a power also not being able to forget anything, like any pain any bad memory any shock in your life you are forced to relive them all over again that is really sad
