How to use your fingers when fingerpicking so you can become familiar with the strings and hit the correct one when playing. This lesson will familiarize your picking hand fingers with the strings. Thanks for replying! I wasnt expecting a response i think it really boils down to what style of music your playing. For me the index is absolutley necessary and this is a beginners course and if your goal is to have people playing fingerstyle in a week then i think the 3 finger approach is the quickest way to acheive that and like i said you can still be a good fingerpicker and use only 3 fingers im pretty sure django only used 2 fingers lol

I’ve been learning Guitar with the strumming style the past 6 months (in reality 2-3 months excluding the time I quit) but I’m now starting to venture into Fingerstyle as it looks a bit more authentic and I think it’ll suit me better. Anywho, ima give it a try. Wish me luck lol!
