Fingerpicking For BEGINNERS-Play Guitar In 12 Minutes! Lesson 2

Fingerpicking For BEGINNERS is an easier method to learn fingerstyle guitar- with easier chords to get you going as a beginner.

In this Lesson 2 of "Fingerpicking For BEGINNERS-Play Guitar In 12 Minutes!," you will use the same easy picking pattern from lesson 1 with your right hand, and another easy "CHEAT" chord on your left hand. By the end of the lesson, you will be playing the guitar but now be able to do two easy chords- it's that EASY!

After the 4th lesson, we are going to take the easy chords we learned and play songs.

Fingerpicking For BEGINNERS- Play Guitar In 12 Minutes!- Lesson 2 focuses on a simple two fingered form of an A chord which is used in many many songs. The same basic finger picking pattern on the right hand from lesson 1 is used.. only on different strings.

Marvelous teaching technique.

At age 71 the fingers don't work as well as they used to, but I'm getting there. Taken about 10 1 hr sessions to feel comfortable with Lesson 1, but I don't mind. Slow and steady wins the day and I don't have any illusions about entering the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

This is really terrific. I'm just getting started (about three months in with a bunch of chords under my belt but virtually no right hand action except a basic strum). Adding to Roger Allen's comment 6 years ago, which now makes him 77 and I am starting this at 77, and so, yes, Roger, at this age for us seniors it does take a lot of extra effort to get our fingers right and in between the strings and fretting it just below the fret!
