How to Install a Dishwasher

How to install a dishwasher. Here I install a Bosch dishwasher, but whatever brand or model the installation is basically the same.

1.) Connect the hot water in, the drain water out, and the power.
2.) Clip the washer to the cabinet or counter and you're done. Easy!

I own a Bosch and so I'm compelled to share some special information about it, if yours is like mine, that is, one with a stainless steel interior. The way it dries the contents is by condensation. When the moist air in the dishwasher comes into contact with the COOLER stainless steel tub, it turns to water droplets and these flow down. To make this effective, it is far better to connect it to COLD water and let the dishwasher take care of heating the water when it needs to. During its last since, the interior is cooled by the cold water facilitating the condensation. If you use hot water, you are defeating this purpose and you will have much longer drying times.

So not all dishwashers are the same in terms of installation. Please spread the word and make some people happy.
