Great video, made simple.

I've made some notes whilst watching this:

Step 1) Turn Water Supply off
Step 2) Disconnect Old Hose
Step 3) Connect one end of the COLD WATER HOSE onto the water supply and feed it through to the dishwasher
Step 4) Turn the water back on and check for leaks
Step 5) Pull through the DRAIN hose from the dishwasher through the same hole as the COLD WATER HOSE, under the sink
Step 6) Place the Dishwasher in place
Step 7) Pull the remaining excess of the DRAIN HOSE under the sink and attach it to the DRAIN SPIGETT, use a jubilee clip
Step 8) Reposition the height of the drain hose to prevent sink ester from entering the dishwasher

Tools Required:
1) Grips
2) Screwdriver
3) Jubilee Clip

I wish my sink cabinet was that tidy but sadly it isn't. However, I can still make it work and I now know what I need to do... Get a double spigot. I was going to cut the drain pipe at the bottom however, I'll of course run the risk of the water not draining efficiently. So thank you.

The drain hose needs to be either passed through a second hole as high as you can under the counter or looped and supported as high as you can under the counter. The idea is if the sink drain ever backed up instead of dumping into your dishwasher it would back up into your sink until it reached the height of your loop and then would dump into your dishwasher.

To prevent this completely you would need an air gap that would fit where a traditional sprayer goes.

Great vid, helped me to find the reason why my washer was flooding. I didn't have a dishwasher in before and the sneaky drain connection was blocked from the inside. Now I'm thinking of the best way to unblock. Probably will drill through the plastic. is this a good idea??

Thank you for the video. Few questions: 1. Can you please tell what is the dual tap called? and what is the white bottle that connected to one of its ends? 2. Did you had to cut the pipe or you also could connected it via the split are when it connected to another pipe (5 cm above).Thanks!

Good luck getting your dishes clean if you hook water line up to cold as this video shows. Doesn't dishwasher need HOT water?
