When a guy in his early 20 with a camera and mic and internet access churns out more insightful financial news than multibillion dollar media organisations …

The West really doesn't need to depend on countries like Russia, China, Iran, or Afghanistan for Commodities, but of course, our Progressive Government loves to virtue signal about how climate friendly the West is, when in reality, most of that carbon emitting and polluting has been transferred to other Countries that are ready to build what we need.
We have so much oil in US alone, and Nuclear Energy is far more efficient than any other form of Energy we use, but our Government policies are ridiculous and outright insane.
Windmills and solar panels are not reliable sources of energy, but Progressives refuse to accept this basic fact.
I don't know when the majority of Western People will wake up to this Left wing progressive insanity in the West.

No... Doubling and tripling the amount of money in circulation in the last 2 years is what caused the World economics crisis...

Norway (and some others, but mainly Norway) has a great way to circumvent the lack of LNG storages across Europe. Norway has mobile LNG 'converters' in the form of ships. They can already be used by some countries.

This needs to be corrected:
More than 90% of Russians Wheat export goes to Asia and Africa (and lees than 4% to the EU. See oec.world to verify).
Most of Russians Wheat exports are/was not going to the EU.
Next point that you could make related to the commodity is that next years production will probably be much lees by other countries while not having access to Potassic Fertilizers, as 30% of the worlds exports of it are coming from Russia and Belarus (friendly to Russia).
As for energy, do not forget Coal where Russia counts for 14% of worlds export and Uranium where Russia produces 5% and Kazakhstan (friendly to Russia) produces around 43% of the worlds total.
Get you facts right and leave politics out of it (is my friendly advise) 🙂

First time I eve hit the like button lol. This guy has become my favourite YouTuber and finance news source. I’d like to point out that if we all listened to Milton Friedman and allow the free economy todo it work and reduced government we have very little inflation right now

Wheat would be loaded on dry bulk carriers not container ships. Container ships mostly carry finished goods...shoes, TVs etc

I liked this channel for the financial updates, but your political commentary sounds like it's coming direct from the MSM. If I wanted to hear that dribble, I would fire up my social media again.

I have learned a new phrase: "Vichy Ukraine." I am using it.

The highest price ever for a bushel of wheat was on February 27 2008 at 24 dollars a bushel and the highest per barrel of oil was of July 11 2008 at 147 dollars a barrel

6:50 - Wait, are you claiming Russia is shooting container ships in the Black Sea??? If you're serious, please do a piece on this. I've heard nothing to that effect.

Something that really bowled me over: the world's top wheat producer by far is China, followed by India!

@Stoic Finance - Your outro has some frame drops. I've noticed this over the past few videos. May need to do a little editing on it. Keep up the content!

Most of the time I agree with your assessments. But when you say that Russia caused this problem, I feel you are showing a political bais. No one ever tried Diplomacy as a solution to this problem as Russia continually showed what they were planning to do. NATO understood they were backing Russia into a corner and instead of asking Russia and the Ukraine to the table to discuss a solution that made sense to all, they chose to antagonize the bear. They also knew that Russia had control of the resources that they were going to desperately need. Yet instead of just saying Ukraine will not be admitted to NATO and say let's sit down discuss this Nato hit the bear on the nose and supported Zelenski desire to take on Russia. Now the Ukranian infrastructure will get destroyed and just add to the Global recession problem. Why isn't anyone discussing Diplomacy anymore, it's all about war.

Your videos use to be very instructive but, I friendly suggest you to delete this one. Please, record a new video with real data and no political (aka anti-russian) narratives - we're fed up !
1- Who are the world biggest producers of wheat?
2- Rank wheat exporters and importers per year (at least from year 2000) and per quantity. How important is wheat to the importers?
3- Talk about the issues that are affecting wheat's supply: Western sanctions, Russian military operation in Ukraine (percentage of installations destroyed) and the Odessa port mined by Ukraine itself. Also, climate change that diminishes the harvests all over the world.
4- What are the impacts of these issues on the market.
5- What are the answers given so far to solve this globally.
I hope you will consider my friendly opinion !
