I’m a self taught dev who attempted a cs degree a few years back and wasn’t for me.
I’m still building a lot and learning a lot, and I managed to get some work in the last 3 months but have no open source contributions so far thus I didn’t feel ready to apply yet, but I’m beyond shocked that people don’t bother to apply properly, read the application and write it themselves! Damn i hope market will get better soon. Its crazy you need to spend like an hour just to apply having 1/2200 chance of getting hired. It's sad to see how quickly the the companies in the industry picked up this position of power mentality.

they are humans and they make mistakes too try to humble yourself a little. As I remember you were laid off two times right before or 3 ? you removed those videos, right? why...?- ahh you are the founder now and giving advice.
So Mr founder here a humble advice
When you give advice "the tone and attitude is more important than the advice itself."

it's hard and you know how it feels in the times of searching for jobs and desperate to find an opportunity, they were wrong of course but be humble a little when you talk about other's mistakes.

And your layoff videos were good BTW, don't remove them and leave the "Founder: Master of advice vids"
