The Bible does not say money is the root of all evil it specifically says the LOVE of money is the root to all evil. There's nothing wrong with having an abundant life and being financially wealthy. The problem lies in compromising your values in god for the sake of that wealth.

I find Joel gentle. I'm disillusioned with churches in my country; I've never felt truly loved there. Despite coming from a loving family, church love has often felt distant. People judge me despite seeing God's blessings in my life. I've felt rejected and even accused of evil by some churches. Now, I pray at home instead of attending. Joel's sermons are a relief—he shares struggles I relate to without judgment. Criticizing others instead of thanking God isn't godly; some Christians make my abundant life seem disgusting to them. I feel we're not aligned in God's plan.
