This video will show you how to frame shed walls for a lean-to modern shed, step-by-step!

There are many different ways to frame shed walls. I built my shed walls using and 2"x4" pressure treated lumber and 2"x6" pressure treated lumber for the front shed wall headers.

When framing your shed walls, you want to plan our your wall stud layout based on the siding you are going to be using for your shed. In my case, I used 4'x8' LP SmartSiding panels for siding. Therefore, I placed my studs so that they would be positioned where the two edges of siding panels meet. The video will go through every aspect of the shed wall framing process.

Crocs Construction baby!💪🏽. All jokes aside, your videos are very informative & simplistic.. Especially for a newbie like myself who is about to build my first 13x10 shed roof .

To help speed things up, cut top and bottom plate at the same time. An have a stop block for repetitive cuts. Measure one, cut x.

Beginner question- what's recommended length of the wall framing stud when using T111 siding ? That will accounts for a 2"x4"x8' bottom plate installed on concrete slab and a double 2"x4"x8' top plate that as 2"x6"x 8' rafter sit on top plate.

I like your videos and I really like how you have the the cad drawing. I was thinking about trying to find that CAD program that you’re using so I could do the same thing with my shed, I am planning to make. Are you able to tell me which CAD program you are using in your video?

How tall is the front wall you never say ? We saw the back wall and side walls but you never say for the front.

I found the easiest way to do the walls solo is to screw a few off cuts to the base sticking up, this way you can run the wall into them and stand it up without it falling off the top.

Love the shirt, thanks for the tips. Im looking to make a floor to put my bbq pit on. Would 2x4 at 16inch be sturdy enough?

is it necessary to use treated wall studs?

You actually can put too many nails in a piece of wood. Wood relies on the connection between the fibers for its strength. Every time you poke a nail or screw in you weaken it. That's not to say to go too few. General rule of thumb is every 12 inches. A bit short is okay, just be careful. Also not saying you have to measure unless You're unsure what 12 inches looks like.

I have a she shed 10x 14. I need a bathroom to make it for company. It’s a lean too design. How do I add a small bathroom to the side of it ? Thky

These videos are great BUT… You only mention the support 2x4 to prevent the front wall from tipping if you do this alone. That is the only safety tip you share - I find it very irresponsible to work in crocs. You should be wearing safety boots, should one of those Walls fall onto your feet it would crush The bones to dust.
