Your guides are excellent, the only change id make so far is to nail on the siding before standing up the wall .

There are many ways to rough frame walls. You could even build the walls on the shed deck, use the sheathing to square the walls, and nail the sheathing on. If the deck is square, and level then the walls will be plumb. Tack the steathing on if you have concerns but hell it's just a shed. I've designed and built a couple of sheds. I even built a pentagonal tree house, assembled the wall, and roof panels on my driveway, hoisted them up, and nailed them in place.

If your siding sheet is 4 x 8, how could you cover your walls with 0.5 inch above and below your 8 ft height studs?

Do you have any tricks for preassembling each wall including siding so they all you need to do is stand the walls upright, nail them to the floor and nail the cornets together? I currently have a 4 x 10 foot lean to that abuts next to a fence and then two of the other sides are bordered bty climbing rose bushes I don't want to harm. I can't assemble and move into place as I did the original aluminum shed as there is now a gated entrance into my side yard vehind which the shed resides. As I have a small back yard that is beautifully landscaped, I want to build a new shed with shingled siding on the same foot print but with taller walls and gabled roof as I need to increase my storage. I also want to add a small rolling library ladder accessed loft area at the back end.

Is there something to add to the bottom of the siding so that the siding doesn't rot out or get wrecked over time?
I am replacing siding now and the old one seemed to get brittle and almost rotted near the bottom.

Great video! How do you keep the z flashing from pulling away when it's only nailed on the very ends?

Is galvanized nails necessary if the OSB is covered with tyvek and then siding?
I'd like to use my leftover box of coated 8d box nails.
