Thank you for bringing more love to the BDB! Id love for you to talk more about the pressure gauge and how it shows the pressure at the group instead of at the pump like most machines do. I think it is a regular topic of frustration for alot if beginners using the BDB thinking they should see the pressure stay steady and not come down on it. For example, show different examples of how different non dialed in and close to dialed in shots look on the gauge vs perfectly dialed in etc. Just an idea! Keep up the good work! Cheers!

I just got mine last Thurs. So far so good! I love how it takes me literally half the time to brew and steam than it did on my Barista Express.

I've owned a BBE, BDB BES 900/920, linea classic, GS3 AV, and fracino contempo dual fuel machine and my favourite is the BDB BES 920. Has all of the features you need and for the price it can't be beat. Support is great and there's plenty of DIY mods/instructions out there for it. My one is even able to be turned on via Alexa because the autostart doesn't work for me but you can do those sorts of things because it's not a $10000 machine.

I am one year into owning a BDB and it's flawless. I'm sometimes tempted already to "upgrade, " but it's difficult to justify as in terms of value for money, the BDB has to be near the top. Did have an issue with some leakage around the group head, but Breville Taiwan had the unit picked up from my home, serviced, and back while I was on vacation. Can't complain about that and the issue was pretty much wear and tear due to my heavy use of this kitchen beast.

Hi, great video.
I’ve got a barista pro with ims baskets and a niche zero. I drink mainly espresso 1-2 a day. I’m wondering if it’s worth the upgrade to the bdb… Is there much difference in cup quality between the the two? Also thinking of trying out the df64.. A street would be very much appreciated.

Hi Dylan, i have just purchased the Breville Dual Boiler after having the Breville Barista Pro. I also purchased the DF64 grinder. I am wanting to purchase a really nice bottomless portafilter do you have any suggestions? I wanted the Harold from St Anthony but not sure if it is compatible. Any suggestions please.?

Got mine 5 months ago and noticed while cleaning under the shower screen that group head coating already peeling off. Breville customer service said that’s normal which I doubt. Normal as it happens frequently or normal as intended? Kind a disappointed for $1600 mashine!!!

Hi Dylan,
I've been a follower since nearly the start. I also hope that this BDB will be my next machine. Right now I have a Breville Duo Temp Pro which i actually used for a pop up "cafe" actually which probably wasn't the best idea with this machine. But I have a question for you. Is the BDB's steam wand insulated or like are the new ones insulated? cause i've heard mixed results from different people. some say yes some say no. Thanks.
