This is probably the Best machine at it's price. Especially when you can also do many kinds of easy modifications to it. For example, Flow profiling by turning your hot water knob into a flow rate knob. Just switch a few tubes around.

I have this machine (reviewed it on my channel as well) and I love it!! I don't know if I'll upgrade any time soon, it's not the prettiest but it's feature packed

Had mine 10 years, probably 10000 shots and just had it serviced. Orings on internal tube started losing water, leaking. I've been delighted.

2 things:
1. The steam wand may be insulated but it gets very hot. To hot for me to touch.
2. A huge feature of this machine that was not mentioned is that you can descale the boilers without shipping them off to be done by a professional.

This is my machine at home and love it. Just thought these two items might be of interest to potential buyers.

Thanks for not muting the sound when the brew pump is running. Don't know why so many people do that. It helps owners to recognise when their machine starts making unexpected noises.

You dosed 18 grams of grinds versus 22 grams and this is a 58mm portafilter? Is that maybe why it was flowing so quickly? I’m new to espresso but its definitely a ton of fun! Breville makes amazing espresso machines definitely awesome for delicious coffee within the comfort of your own home!! 😊

with this price point, most of the pro-sumer brands wont include all these features like dual boiler with PID and 58mm plus all these timing functions, its just value for the money machine

Great short review or introduction I would say. I have early model Infuser now since 2012 looking to step up. Hadn't considered dual boiler because don't drink lots of milk drinks but this machine has some good features. Wish you'd do a more in depth review soon and price. Especially like temperature control, built-in timer, led display and ability to use a manual pull plus separate volumetric buttons. Lots to like 👍 here.

Does this model come with the water filter? I normally use filtered water, but at times when it's time to replace the water filter for the home, I'd rather have the espresso machine filter the water as well. If not, will the Barista Express filter holders work in this machine since I do have some of them on hand?

So, both the cleaning tablet and descaler (fluid) are used to clean this model?

Well presented vid. We have this machine at home, its good but we have been having trouble with it reaching pressure and or not having coffee release from the basket at all, it seems we have to very thoroughly clean the basket out after each use getting out every left over granule or it wont work. It could be the coffee we use but it doesnt seem right. Any advice would be appreciated
