Just took these on as a project today! As you mentioned, these are fairly simple to install, however, I recommend wearing some gloves while installing due to the sharp edges! I did not screw mine in either but I did install two small black nylon zip ties at each connection just to secure. The tools I used were, a 10" flat drywall trough (to lift up the shingles), rubber mallet (to make sure the gutter nails were tight), wire snips (to help with adjustments at gutter ends), a few beers and lastly, a shot or two of Wyoming Whiskey...of course this was after completion and no ladder was involved! Great Vid, Thanks!

Thanks for the video. I wasn’t sure how the ends snapped in. If anyone has trouble sliding these under the shingles it’s because you are hitting a nail head I bet - like I did. Once I realized that I had to manipulate the guard above the nail head but below the shingle. A little tricky but easy once I understood the obstruction. These are nice gutters guards that have been working perfectly a few years now. In super heavy rain I do notice some pour over, but no big deal. These look nice and work great in most rain situations. Even In a downpour the pour over is minimal. I recommend them. Also suggest self drilling screws to hold them in because on my gutters they were firm, but not right. They look cool - use black and blends in with my roofline. Thanks again.

these look so much better than the plastic ones I installed on 2 homes that dry rotted and clogged in 6 years of use.THANKS

I clean gutters. These are excellent quality gutter guards. The weight of each is beefy so they are stiff and take a beating better than vinyl and cheaper, lighter metals. Best of all you can take them out or see debris if any in the gutter troughs. I like this particular gutter guard also. Installation skill, common sense, and pride of work done always are more important than the product.

Thanks for the vid. I was shy about putting them up under the shingles like that.

I have the same guards but my shingles will not lift up so I can insert the guard.

Wondering how your gutter guards are holding up now without using any screws? Should I use screws or not?

Do you just cut it to size if your last section is too long?

There is a video on these under the invisaflow title showing water pouring over the outer edge of these. Has that been your experience? Thanks

Did you use wire cutters to custom fit the guards at the corners/ends?

I dont think they are wide enough for my 6" gutters, i didnt have enough with to tuck under roof material.

Unfortunately, what you did not mention is what do you do when you have 1' more than you have gutter. Theses are steel with powder coating, any cutting will cause rust. I guess I will paint the end where I have to cut it.

Hey bud, I'm installing these too and I see they lift up the shingles slightly (looks like it does that to yours too). Any issues from this?

You do realize that this is NOT how the manufacture said to install them ? They’re meant to have an arch to them so the leaves and debris slide it.
