Marco, I just want to give you my thanks for doing the extra work you do to share your expertise and experience. You are the first content creator showing miniature techniques from what feels like an artists perspective. I deeply appreciate learning all the why's instead of a checklist of how's. They each have their value, but I feel I only *really* learn and appreciate the process when I understand why things are done artistically.

I just found my love for miniature painting recently (6 months ago) and I just ordered a set as I want to learn more about colour mixing and also believe those to be perfect for me, as I am on business travels quite often, spending lots of evenings in hotels due to the pandemic situation. Now I can just carry a wet palette with me, some nice brushes and these colours. Add a Warhammer warband and I will have some nice entertainment without my luggage becoming bloated with hobby stuff.

This is a great review. I'd add that using those kind of color which requires experiment and mixing makes mandatory for you to use a painting diary, where you note colors, ratios, etc because after few weeks you won't necessarily remember how you obtained a particular tone. Gran bel lavoro.
