What paints do we use for all of the synthwave warhammer 40k models?

Over the years my recipes have changed especially as new lines come out or I find new techniques
Currently The Army Painter Fanatic range is my every day work horse
But I still put different paints for different jobs.
Speedpaint is great through the air brush or just as a tint to slightly change the hue and the AIR range from the Army Painter has the best fluorescent paint I've ever used but sometimes there's a stray and for me that citadel imperial fist contrast paint it's still the most vivid and intense yellow I've come across

I've been using this to paint my homebrew faction, the Tyranid Luminoids.

On the the planet Nostromo there is no sun, the planet's surface is slate and rock but warmed through rivers of lava and deep bellow there are valuable minerals and metals so the imperium has colonised it for mining, but deep within the caves lives a hive of feral tyranids, how have long ago been cut off from their hive fleet and formed an animalistic isolated hive, dubbed the Lumanoids for their strange glow.

What color and type of lighting are you using to make those models paint jobs pop so vibrantly?

I'm really struggling with the army painter florescent paint, I can't get it to look good, if I only put a little on it just looks like a dark reddish orange, if I put too much it pools and looks bad. Do you have any tips on how to make it look better?

Would you be willing to paint a space marine in the style of the Berlin camo from black ops1? Even after getting gold i used berlin anyway. Just looks like really cool urban camo
