I just want to say thank you. I am 14 and have been yearning to learn more about God. I feel like something just sparked and God came through me. I really started to want to learn more when I was 13 and I always made up excuses or laziness would get the best of me. I already knew the basics of the Bible, but I just want to have a relationship with God that is deeper and more pure than anything I could imagine. I feel like I didn't know where to begin and I was at this stopping point....Again. After about a year, which is now the present, I just said, "I need to stop messing around and do something." So, I went on YouTube and just started looking up good Christian songs, vlogs and etc... I started getting deeper into the Christian part of YouTube....And I just love it! It's so positive and uplifting! I somehow, by the grace of God, stumbled into your channel..And I'm in love! I've been binge watching your videos while doing whatever it may be. I love how detailed you are with your studies and how you make your videos in a way that appeal to the youth. You make it seem like it's just a fun YouTube video, but it's so informational! I love the way you teach and write and speak and the way you run your channel. I think you will become bigger one day if you keep it up and you will be preaching to thousands of people. I know I will have more questions down the road, but as of right now I just have some pretty simple questions: 1.) How do you do your'e highlighting system? Do you have different categories for the different colors of highlight? Or do you just highlight what ever you want, but do various colors to keep it different? 2.) Can you explain what you think is important to highlight? 3.) And what about all those sticky notes in your Bible? What do they mark?

I really don’t know where to begin. I started with Genesis and it was such a good tale of how things started, who God is, how sin and karma works, how God is forever with us, and to trust in Gods faith for he has a plan for us. I think I might just continue through the books in order. During this time of uncertainty, and mass hysteria and a pandemic happening, effecting people from work, money, death, missed events, etc, I have seeked God. I went to Church as a kid, but not enough to understand the Bible and religion enough. Reading just the first book has given me a new love for life. I hope to continue till I am done. I recommend NLT (new living translation) for new comers. It’s in modern English, and it makes it easier to understand what’s happening.

Wow. Absolutely remarkable. Everyone always tell us that we Christians should "read our bible". So we read our bible and many can't understand much. Some of us don't know where to start. This is seriously right on time! I just finished reading through 1 Corinthians and I couldn't figure out what to read next. I'm a 2016 college grad & involved in part time ministry (youth/student ministry & im a worship leader). I've found that not only as someone who is in ministry but also as a worshiper of Jesus, it's so important to be disciplined in things like reading Scripture. prayer, etc. and it's even more important to truly be in love with Jesus & want to do those things. But it also can be easy sometimes to just go on auto-pilot & as soon as started feeling that way, this video popped up on my feed! Im a new subscriber but I already really enjoy your videos! I'm going to read Malachi first thing tomorrow during my quiet time 😃

I'm not Christian, but have an extended family that is. I am 110% happy in my (non-Christian) religion, as it gives me peace and strength, but I was recently gifted a Bible for graduation from family that doesn't know I'm not Christian (I don't tell them I'm not, no need to start family drama). I plan to read it, though, because I respect my family and want a less biased prospective on their beliefs and see their views better. Thanks for helping on how to start.

Thank you for this helpful and inspiring video! I am 16 years old and in June around my birthday is when I wanted my first bible! I didn’t grow up in a religious household or knowing who God truly was. I just had a feeling that I was missing something and I had to find that something threw God. I had a feeling Jesus was knocking on my door and I wanted him in my life so I opened up to him and giving myself to him, so that he can take control. I want to learn more about him and follow his good ways. I want to be a follower of Jesus and start going to church/bible study. I want to be in a youth group as well. I’ll read Genesis first and keep on going! Thank you for your help. I love your encouraging videos! I’ll update this message as I keep on discovering the Bible.
