I agree it's just too expensive, but it's just about flawless. Everything it on it works well, and the "free" technology sets it apart from the competition. The size it perfect. The weight is perfect. It's just hard to beat.

My Arc is brand new. The scissors are the same as yours. I assume they're like that from the factory to make them feel more slick. Wobbling is always a tradeoff, it either wobbles or it's stiff to move. That also explains the handles lateral movement, which is something I noticed on mine too. They can't really make it move well and not wobble side to side.

The engineers have come out talking about the wire cutters. They stated it was for clearance. The old wire cutters work in every Leatherman so I assume they meant clearance in the manufacturing process. I think they might have to revise that design at some point, it clearly isn't working well. It probably lowered costs to make. The forging dies are incredibly expensive, I assume they will use the current dies until worn but hopefully the next set will have the old wire cutter design.

It would be awesome to see Leatherman make a Fuse +, which would be a Leatherman Fuse upgraded with spring action pliers and replaceable wire cutters👍

So it’s April, 2025 now. The tool is now $250. With tax where I live, it’s $275. I’m having a problem pulling the trigger on this purchase.
