Outstanding! Yes, I agree with you about the blade! Leatherman needs to get the cost down on the Arc! There’s no reason for the tool to be so expensive. The margins on the tool must be huge! I also carry my Arc daily and serves me well!

I personally like the Surge and you can get a magnacut or CreWear blade made for them if you know a machineist who also makes knives and understands heat treat.

Can I get some practical use examples for the micro flathead ? I see them included on multitools often but I normally don't find a use for them, past maybe cleaning my nails 😅

But let's be honest how much would that lower steel cost actually save you? It's not gonna be like a hundred dollar difference, I'd imagine. I don't mind paying the money if I'm getting the quality for my money. Love the easy open ability on each tool, thats usually why i don't like most multi tools.
But if you know the cost difference please share it or what's your opinion on what you'd think that cost difference would be.
