With a 170° ultra-wide lens, the Sony HDR-AS20 HD POV Action Camera, part of the Action Cam line from Sony, is designed to give you an immersive, first-person perspective on adventures of all kinds.

It features 1080p video recording at 30 or 60 frames per second, a 720p30 mode for longer recording time, and a VGA (640 x 480) mode for producing compact, Web-friendly files.

In addition to video, the Sony HDR-AS20 Action Cam takes still photos at the camera's native effective resolution of 11.9-megapixel. Plus there is a 120 fps Super Slow Motion burst mode that creates a 4x slow-down in-camera without the quality loss of software-base slow motion.

Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC means you can operate the camera and monitor wirelessly from a smartphone or mobile device as well as pair it with the separately available RML-VR1 Live View Remote Watch from Sony.

This wrist-worn controller has a built-in color screen for monitoring and can operate record start and stop plus snap a photo. You can even use one remote to control up to five compatible Action Cams simultaneously.

To further "adventure-proof" the Sony HDR-AS20 camera, the SPK-AS2 housing is included. Waterproof to 15', the housing also protects the camera from dust and dirt, as well as drops from as high as 5 feet. There is a 1/4"-20 socket on the bottom allowing the camera to be used with standard tripods, monopods, suction-cup mounts, and more.

I want to buy one Sony Action HDR-AS20.. but I read in the manual that if I choose the option to take pictures in lapses of time it has only 2mp. And I will use almost only this function.. Do you ever used it? is good? Thanks!
