Sony HDR- AS20 action cam review, Gopro alternative.

Hi everyone and welcome to my quick review of the Sony HDR AS20 action cam. I have been using this camera for a month or so now for recording my outdoor and metal detecting videos.

I find this Sony action cam to be a great alternative to the Gopro range that seems to dominate the market at the minute. Not only is this camera waterproof to 5m it also has great video capabilities along with really good sound recording.

I really hope that this video helps to give other options to people who don't want to follow in the gopro hype and fancy trying something else. You will not be disappointed if you get a Sony AS20 action cam, I can promise you that.

This Sony action cam is capable of filming at 1080p 30/60fps and also 720p at 30/60/120 fps so that you can do slow motion videos if required. It also has a 12mp still frame camera as well.

Nice review on the Sony Action Cam it does seem to have good picture quality but for me personally I would have liked a view finder or flip out screen so I can see what is in the frame, other than that it looks to be a very tidy little Cam you have there :-) thanks for sharing GL & HH

great video mate but I'm not impressed by that sony nor the gopro anymore, I switch to a small handycam and it now gives me great footage and more importantly great macro closeups which in this hobby I think is important unless you're willing like I was to come home and then film all the closeups on a DSLR.
it's such a shame that these action cams are only fixed focus, if they could put variable focus in them they'd be onto a winner.

Nice review but I have a gopro that I don't use all that often. Mainly use my phone. if I purchased another camera it would most likely be a handicam or similar.
