How to make Steam Guides with YouTube videos embedded
Показать описание
This video explains how to sync your Steam games account with YouTube so you can make videogame guides. Doing this will let you tap into the Steam community to build an audience for your gaming channel. I used a Realm of the Mad God video for this tutorial but you could make one for Skyrim or Battlefield to compete with Prima or Bradygames!

Steam is a digital distribution, digital rights management, multiplayer and communications platform developed by Valve Corporation. It is used to distribute games and related media online, from small independent developers to larger software houses. As of November 2012, there are over 1800 games available through Steam, and 54 million active user accounts. The concurrent users peak was 6 million on November 25, 2012. Although Valve never releases sales figures, Stardock, former owner of competing platform Impulse, estimated in 2009 that Steam had a 70% share of the digital distribution market for video games. Steam's primary service is to allow its users to download games and other software that they have in their virtual software library to their local computers. Steam-integrated games are stored as single non-compressed archive files with the extension .gcf
Steam provides digital rights management (DRM) for software titles, by providing "custom executable generation" for executable files that are unique for each user, but allow that user to install the software on multiple computing devices via Steam or through software backups without limitations. The Steam client, as part of a social network service, allows users to identify friends and join groups through the Steam Community feature.
