Errorless Teaching and Error Correction

Hi Everyone!!! We hope you enjoy this video :) the examples shown are simple because we wanted to highlight the process of using these two strategies. *Please keep in mind when fading prompts you will do so as applicable to your goal and client*. Thank you ladies! I am currently going through these teachings. Errorless is when you don't give the chance to get the answer wrong so you help before they can answer. And error correction is if they are wrong you help them to the right answer

I had my 1st session with my new client. It was mostly pairing and playtime. I was anxiety ridden. I was also learning the program on the ipad, while working with my kiddo. I was able to implement some of the programs while pairing. It seemed to go well. But, i wont coynt my chickens before they hatch. I love your videos. You've helped to give me a confidence boost! That was awesome! So just to clarify you wouldn't reinforce for the correct response after error correction, you reinforce only on trials they get correct independently without error correction?

Can you explain why you use language like "touch cup" instead of "touch the cup" or something more natural sounding like, "touch the cup, please"?

How are you taking data each response whether it’s incorrect or no response is an error? While doing airless learning if you’re doing a full physical prompt but yet your data only shows plus or minus would that still be a minus? I think that’s where I get thrown off. Also, you’re not taking data points for transfer trials.

in the last few examples I dont kno why you dont you reward with happy facial expression when they got it correct?

great examples, would have love to see the examples with data collection, and reinforcers used, also when the listener got an incorrect response when the target was replaced on the table they were switched around even though the listener got an incorrect response - shouldn't the target stay in the same location for the error correction?
