We all know that Nvidia named the 4080 12Gb wrongly, but you know what else they did wrong? they first claimed that the 4080 12Gb is 3x faster than the 3080 Ti. Then after they named the 4080 12Gb correctly and called it The 4070 Ti, they claimed this "brand new" card is 3x faster than the 3090 Ti. These claims are enormous and I'm pretty sure they didn't notice themselves talking

Just completely overlooking the fact that the 4070ti is 5-10% slower than a 3090ti basically across the board at 4K raster without any upscaling technology. The 4070ti has 3090 levels of performance in 4k, RT also isn't much better. The only thing that favors this card is DLSS 3.0 which the 3000 series cant even use since Nvidia needs to deliver an incentive to buy their ridiculously overpriced cards. But hey, let's test the 4070ti with DLSS 3.0 in performance mode with frame generation on against a 3090ti without any DLSS (at native res). Nvidia really must think gamers around the world are beyond stupid.

The whole GPU situation is freaking nuts nowadays, a 4070 ti (which was originally marketed as a 4080, but going by CUDA cores is actually just a 4060 ti) now costs 799$; which for some fucking reason translates to around 1000€ in Europe, despite the Euro going up again.

I remember when you could get a 560 ti for 200€....
