Hello everyone, after almost two years of Plein-Air painting with gouache and watercolor, It's finally time to show you a more comprehensive look at what I bring with me when I paint outside. I always love seeing other people's plein air set up. I don't get to do plein air very often and when I do I have to keep it super minimal. I have a small pencil case that fits a 2x3 watercolor pad, a pencil, my water brush, and the smaller version of that Transon palette I found on amazon. Also, I love your style, keep the videos coming!

Where did you get your cigarette fountain pen, and what did you mean that the orange looked suspicious? It looks nice & portable.
What brand of ink do you use?
Does your gouache ever mold? I read that’s the case from some commenters.
Oh, one thing you forgot to mention was your water container. I use a little plastic cup with a lid and clip, probably mostly used by oil painters. I can only assume it’s too small for gouache ‘cause I haven’t tried gouache painting outdoors. I keep telling myself to paint more with gouache ‘cause I like the look…. but I guess I don’t reach for my set because it seems more messy.
