I believe on a local level Christians could potentially be involved in politics and it be for the greater good. The early church however only got involved on a political level after constantine(hundreds of years later) elevated leaders of the church to those places of power and gave them immunities from the long held persecutions. If the church on local levels pursued and addressed the issues at hand wed change this country. Casting a ballot for flawed men, some being bought out long before even getting elected, just stems the hand of persecution coming. Our country is not beyond revival and turning to God but this country was not founded as a Christian nation and it will take lives being transformed from experiencing radial love and true faith from the church not a ballot box
