Vectors | 3D Graphics Overview

Vectors, simply put, are just multidimensional numbers. This is in contrast to scalar values, which are just the quantities we use on a daily basis. Vectors are composed of multiple scalar values. Although not a formal definition, a scalar can be thought of as a one-dimensional vector.

In this lecture we discuss how vectors work and gain an intuition for how they can be of use in 3D graphics.
