Very well said about Fuel ❤. You’re the only one I heard saying the fact and truth on Diesel.

If I were considering buying one this video would have been enough to answer all my queries. Good job OD and Rohit.

Excellent review.
CO2 norms correctly brought out.

For me diesel is not an option. So considering the petrol, how do I pick this over something like a Tiguan after knowing the difference in engines between them

Hopefully they bring 23i or 28i which is in international market with xdrive. Not sure why India doesn’t get those.

The CO2 emissions may be lesser than the petrol but what about Nox? It's definitely low in power compared to the earlier 190hp 20d. Door handles looks like 90s car!

CO2 is not the major pollutant. It’s NOx is the major one and it’s still emitted more from diesel engines.

Now people will comment it's underpowered and not worth the price. Imo, 150hp or 136 for the petrol is more than enough in Indian conditions. I'm very much satisfied with the powertrain to offer and the features loaded. I've driven this latest X1 owned by my friend. Neva felt better. Refinement, comfort, ride quality, audio, cameras, top notch. Only negative I feel is all wheel drive and ventilated seats.. This is my opinion.

Diesels always have a lower CO2 emission compared to petrol engines. The main issue is the NOx SOx and particulates. But yes. For all fuels there should be a balance.
But man BMWs engines are sadd more like drinking skimmed milk. Not much oopmh.

BMW should have made this into Electric because how can you forget Volvo XC40 ?

All car companies are juz randomly increasing the prices..

No only for the logo this price can't be. No cool ventilated seat, ergonomics not as per right side steering, no physical buttons, not visible or easily accessible to co-passenger and lastly the engine is average.

The only thing that is keeping me away from the new x1 is that it has no all wheel drive.
