Who funded this Audi, Mercedes? As an owner of a X1 23i M Sport, six months in 8, 000 miles, this review is just bollocks. Comments about minor issues (which I do not recognise) with no substances. Great car for both round town and long distances. Compared to the competition still the best at going round corners but if you do the bendy stuff often get a 3 Series Tourer.

I watched dozens of videos on the X1-U11 over the last 2 months, some done by experts, most by car enthusiasts. But I've never seen such a contradictory review, full of bias and ambiguities. No like from me - sorry. I drove the X1 myself recently and found the seats absolutely perfect, and, as noted in almost all reviews, was impressed by the sound insulation, allowing conversation at higher speeds than with our current X3. Anyway, we ordered our X1 afterwards and it may still be delivered before Xmas.

The seats are better than my previous BMW 3 series and Audi A4. The steering is light but I like that for city driving. The 3 series was very heavy. The noise in the cabin could be improved, I thought it was just loud because it’s an SUV and I’m used to hatchback. I also find the gear box laggy or to snappy one minute it sluggly the next it’s snapping your neck. Still a great car IMO.

I rented one and it was okay. Nothing noteable on the highway. My main issue was the lag in the transmission. From dead stop to acceleration, the transmission was very delayed that another car cut me off. It’s not a bad car but definitely not highly rated.

The worst bmw i have ever driven. The car is very stiff and the seats are not comfortable at all. It is noisy and not moving smoothly with engine jercking . The air condition is not as good as you expect and the interior material quality is low with lots of plastic and fake leathet.
