Also if there is an addition and subtraction you have to add the numbers on the division line instead of taken them away

You should have included examples with the first term with a negative coefficient and/or the middle term with a negative coefficient. Your example all have positive coefficients. Does it matter? Are the end calculation terms still subtracted from one another?

Seriously, how did you find out about this? At first I passed it off as a niche equation scenario, but I tried it out and it works for any equation in this form. Incredible work.

it works, you have to reorder the terms and solve for Y first 3y+2x=12 then 4y-3x=1 then y= 36-2 over 8+9 = 34 over 17 gives you y=2. you add the 8+9 because you use the opposite sign of what was in the equation. Make sense?
