It amazes me that people expect to do an engine swap but don't bother torquing fasteners to the proper spec.

If you can destroy a o-ring in a grow like that. Than the o-ring is too big. Looks like the flang is streel on steel. And the flang is thick. And full surface. The tread would rip before bending the flang.
