Kung Fu Panda 3! Y'all thought you'd never get it! And to be honest, even though I love the movie, Dreamworks is a pain to deal with. But It's time to finish the trilogy that somehow…holds up! Here's everything right with Kung Fu Panda 3! The one with the pandas!

One other cool thing I noticed:
-Tai lung is a villain based on Shifu
-Shen is a villain based on Po
-Kai is a villain based on Oogway

I will always love Tigress's agreeement whenever Po is admitting he's bad at something throughout the series. KFP1 it was disdainful agreement hoping to put him down. KFP2 it was friendly teasing agreement with his screw-ups knowing he can roll with it. Now it's agreement with his failures, tempered with genuine care and desire to support him. She really is a best friend.

I love it when the panda village fights the jade monsters. It didn't hit me until now, but some of them were survivors of the genocide Shen committed. They were helpless back then, but Po taught them how to fight back. That's just so inspirational imo

The voice acting for the self sacrifice scene, where PO yells "Run, RUN!" is so well acted. It makes me feel Po's fear, and makes me tear up every single time I watch this movie

Remember after the disastrous first day of Po as a teacher, and everyone was harsh at him, except for Viper? Shifu did not mention her name while saying who told him the day was a disaster, meaning Viper just accepted Po's lack of teaching skills, and maybe just hoping he will improve. Dispite her especies being associated with poison and betrayal, she was the nicest character on the franchise. We need more friends like Viper. 🐍🐍🐍

I always found that Po has a different role in each movie:

- Kung Fu Panda: Student
- Kung Fu Panda 2: Warrior
- Kung Fu Panda 3: Teacher

It makes each movie distinctive, avoiding any possible rehashes.

Kai's destruction, explained:
The more Chi you give willingly, the more Chi you have.
The more Chi you take forcibly, the less Chi you have.
Po was being given Chi willingly by an entire village of people. Making him infinitely full of Chi. Then he gave it all to Kai, willingly, becoming an endless Chi font for Kai to take from that would never run dry.
Kai, at the same time, was forcibly taking Po's Chi, even while it was being given to him. He was forcibly taking infinite Chi. Which caused him... to have none.
And nothing can exist without Chi.
So Kai became nothing. He ceased to exist.

The mantis and crane conversation about “ WINGS OF captures the exact precious meaningless pieces of conversation you’d find in a laid back dnd game with friends .

You forgot another win. During po’s final battle, he remains light hearted and enjoys what’s happening. After being beaten the crap out of by kai, when he turns into the chi dragon, he doesn’t become serious, he literally starts laughing and starts acting like himself which is enjoying anything cool. It shows literally anything cool happening to him he will enjoy like throughout this entire trilogy.

*Gets struck by DreamWorks when he is doing free advertising

*Still does videos out of the love for movies and his audience.

Thank you

One of my favorite things about Kai is something my brother pointed out. He's obsessed with amassing everyone else's power for himself, and LITERALLY has the green eyes of envy.

Fun Fact: Kai theme is actually from the Imagine Dragons song "I'm so sorry"

Okay, I missed that Tigress kitten squeak until now and it is adorable. Stripey baby indeed.

The Po and Tigress relationship is one of my absolute favorite things in this series. The genuine friendship they build is heartwarming and I love how it doesn't sacrfice anything of their characters for it.

Random fact: “Kai” have the same pronunciation as the word “ใคร” that mean “Who” so in the Thai dub it just sounds Kai introduced himself as who which for some reason make me chuckle whenever I rewatch

I love how at 3:05 when Mr. Ping says “I’m already awesomely proud” the bunny kid offers their Dragon Warrior doll to him. It’s just an adorable background thing that I’ve never noticed while watching the film.

6:57 I'm so sad that there was no mention that the song for Kai's theme is actually a remix version of I'm So Sorry by Imagine Dragons who was of course composed by Hans Zimmer, and the song makes sense for this film and character since the song tells of a man who is sure of himself, of course careful from the mistakes in the past, he has the power in his hands ("Chi" and "spirits") dangerous but it's what motivates him the most! I hope that made sense but if not sorry I'm not so good at explaining.

I love the fact that unlike the other two villains Kai takes himself far less seriously but can still have intimidating moments with more ease.

One thing that I noticed in all three movies is..
Kung Fu Panda: Most of the scenes were set in the morning/afternoon.
Kung Fu Panda 2: Majority of the scenes were set during night time.
Kung Fu Panda 3: It was mostly scenes that took place during dusk.
Whether or not there's a deeper meaning to this, I'm not sure. But it's just something I noticed.
