X-Acto / Proedge makes a sanding stick with interchangeable sanding bands for such purposes, i usually use it after scraping with the rounded blade...

Found my oooold Proedge catsalogue; item numbers of interest are = "Pro #53600" (three sticks of various grits) - "Pro #53640" - "Pro #53650" - "Pro # 53660" (indiviual sticks packaged with one extra sanding belt in respective grid) - Also the so called "Grit Stix" sticks comes in red-green-blue colours for easy recognition between grit sizes. :-)

Wish I had seen this 6 hours earlier. I've done this many times with flat blades, but I had parts earlier that flat blade wouldn't get to.

I'm not sure if I'll make it to any of the smaller shows in February / March due to having no leave left.. I don't fancy going to work after a day at a modelling show as you can end up quite tired after such an event. And besides, I'd want to stay home and study my purchases and wonder why the 'eck I bought what I bought... ) :) Still, hopefully I'll make it to the show at the RAF Museum in May, and there's always a lot of traders selling a great variety of stuff, so should find some there! :)
