British Airways Trip Report flying from London to Madrid Barajas onboard one of the British Airways A380 on a lovely sunny afternoon in Madrid but cloudy, windy, and cold in London-Heathrow.

A really comfortable flight on the British Airways A380 from London to Madrid with some really amazing views. Especial mention for the approach and landing in Madrid with an incredible sunset.

Flying on the A380 must be always an amazing experience. After all, it is the biggest passenger airplane in the world. From a standard passenger point of view is probably the most comfortable option for any flight: silent, spacious, space for walking...

However, I also must say that it's the most uncomfortable airplane for making a Trip Report due to the huge space between the seat and the window and between the layers of the window itself, which make it almost impossible to avoid reflections on the window. The window layers are so separated that they even make reflections between them.

British Airways is starting to operate again the Airbus A380 and for crew training, they are operating it during all November 2021 from London to Frankfurt and Madrid. That's the reason for using the biggest passenger airplane in the world for such a short route.

Buen vídeo, lastima que en Londres estaba cubierto de nubes y lloviendo pero ha merecido la pena solamente por ver los impresionantes aviones que allí había parece que había bastante trafico sobre todo muchos Boeing 777 bonito avión. El A380 es un monstruo del aire pero según algunos vídeos que he visto de pilotos de Lufthansa decían que era muy maniobrable a pesar de su tamaño y que era una lástima que ya no se fabriquen mas. Un cordial saludo y buen fin de semana.

Excelente como siempre. Bristish Airways tenia conexión con la Ciudad de Panamá, hasta en los años 1980's cuando mi Panamá vivía bajo dictadura militar (1968-1989), entonces no era vuelo directo a la Ciudad de Londres sino tenia que pasar por las Islas de Bermudas. Ahora hay lineas aereas 100% europeas que llegan al Viejo Continente desde la Ciudad de Panamá son KLM, Air France, Iberia, Air Europa y Lufthansa. Yo he ido a España por KLM pero no a la Ciudad de Madrid (nunca he ido) sino a la Ciudad de Barcelona, capital de Cataluña pero tenia que pasar primero por la Ciudad de Amsterdam (es uno de los mas grandes aeropuertos del mundo). Me gustó tu video y mil saludes desde la Ciudad de Panamá. Luis

I actually like seeing an A380 on such a short flight considering the fact that A321neos and 737 max are now being used for 7-hour flights, which I do not like.

That sure was a beautiful sunset. I’ve seen that beautiful a sunset in the pacific time zone when I’m in the air from Oregon to Washington. ✈️
