I used to live in the Blue ridge mountains in NC USA. Many people, some who were born and raised there said they never saw a Black bear. Some years I saw as many as 26 as I rode my bike most days. They also appeared in my yard quite frequently. Several came up to look into our windows. I felt at that time that the bear is my spirit animal. Thanks for the video.

I am on a spiritual journey, out of the blue it came to me Bear is my spirit animal when I didn’t really have any interest in spirit animals.

I was told by a native American shaman that i had a bear spirit cause I had strength to protect my loved ones and winter was my worst season.

I had dreams of bears on a regular basis as a kid, and looking back it was guiding me to stand up what I believe in and have the strength to get through my childhood - I did not grow up in a nurturing/supportive environment and there was a lot of abuse going on. I would often have these dreams and I would always be afraid of them until one day I finally stood up to the bear and roared back. Then, I never had a bear dream again. It’s so crazy, I sometimes miss having bear dreams. I want to get a bear tattoo because of the strong symbolism it has for me.

I met Bear in a guided shamanic meditation.. Standing up for what I believe in is very important to me and it is comforting to know Bear is standing strong beside me inspiring me to stay strong and confident in my values and beliefs.

I was abused badly between the ages of 4 and 6. Now, I’m a Special Education teacher, and I specialize in helping students who have been abused. I’m docile, but quick to act when I feel my family or students are being threatened. I’ve always loved the black bears that lived in the woods near my house. They never scared me, but I was respectful to keep a distance. I can be quiet and reclusive, but I’m also motivated to help or guide friends and students whenever I see the need. I’m just as happy working with children as I am being alone. I live within whatever tone of mind I set for myself.

I’m pretty sure the black bear is my totem animal, and I want one to be my friend (not pet), just a free-roaming black bear that stops by now and then.

The bear has been my guide throughout my life. First animal I saw was a grizzly bear when I was a kid. I have been dreaming about all kinds of bears all my life. At first it was to teach me fearlessness, then playfulness. Recently I’ve been dreaming about polar bears teaching me to rest and grizzly bears have been showing up in my dreams to showing me ways to heal with ease and humour. My native birth sign is the Bear, I've sleep in the wild with the bear, have had bear in my camp, in the back of my truck while sleeping next to it. Have never been harmed by the Bear. I have bear track tattoo's bear faces on my arms, had no idea the bear was my spirit animal until eating at a restaurant one day, the table mat had native birth animals, mine was of the bear, it then made sense to me!

I come from a animism religion where we believe in the spirit world, for the past year I've been diving deep into meditation, intuition, spiritual healing and just recently been able to connect with my spirit guides. For the first time I dreamt of a brown bear following me, I was scared so I tried making it go away but it kept following me, other bears came running towards me trying to attack me but the bear that's with me started fighting them off, eventually they ran off, the bear than came and sat by me, I believe this is my animal spirit. Soo grateful to have a bear as my animal spirit.
