Forget about Obsidian, Roam, and Evernote; Notion is a more serious rival to Slack and Teams. And Better Databases is fantastic! Such a quicker way to access data.

A lot of the features will work great even with non team plans, are they going to put this through for other plans ? If its for teams, have they really done enough in this roadmap ?

Hello Francesco,
I use Evernote since about 8 years; I have 7.000 notes in my account.
Because Evernote has become slower in opening the home screen I tried a lot of other note-taking apps and file cabinets like Notion, Nimbus Notes, Google Keep, AirSend, Trello, Airtable, Apple Notes … but I always come back to Evernote.
Why?
Because of their good search engine (best OCR), their forwarding e-mails to the EN-account (in premium version), the best web clipper there is, the backlinks inside my account, the good structure (stacks, notebooks, tags), the sharing of notes (every note has a URL) …
Notion has nice desktop layout but is too difficult for me and it is impossible to print a note without making it first a pdf file.

I’m looking for Notion to way better at mobile, they say they know they need get better. I haven’t seen any mass effort to make a better experience for mobile.

The 'Improved' Databases are nice but they just make databases easier to use, create, or link on other pages. They do not make them any more powerful.

The Synced Databases, however, have real huge potential for project management; imagining syncing your ToDoist data to notion and on different project pages, you list just those projects with their other information.

Sidebar needs work for non team accounts. Love Notion but something about it with its structure and somewhat almost dated design is annoying.

But have they made the Ipad App better ?
Scribble and apple pencil is terrible in Notion. That’s just one of the many shortcomings of the ipad app

What's up with the books on the floor. Not smart not lean and definitely not a good practice. Kinda ironic for a company who touts best practice and practicality.
