Fold Your Samsung Galaxy Fold Properly!!

A little quick public service announcement on how to fold your galaxy fold properly. It's a great phone but its still a folding display and even though it's become much more durable it's still fragile compared to a normal phone!

This is not the correct way, you need to hold both side of the screen then fold it like book. Dont follow his way.

PSA dont press in the middle and certainly DONT PRESS ON THE TOP OR BOTTOM PLASTIC in the crease... it will damage the screen because there is no reinforced backplate in the middle.. just press on the metal frame next to it

Press on the pointy plastic holder, imposing even more concentrated stress on the screen at that point...

Best closing advice put both thumbs at the bottom of the frame like you closing a cover book and close from outside I never touch the screen when closing I'm scared to scratch or crack the screen protector then that leads to the main screen issuse if you don't fix quick. So always close the device from the outter frame never push on the screen.

Forget what this dude is talking bout. Most people don’t want to have to worry about anything like that so I’m going to help you with this advice. You didn't even do it at the end of the video, lol. Pushing on one end of the crease seems like you're begging for it to crack anyway. Just close it like a book. It's not difficult.

Close it like a book. It's not that hard and it's what most people do instinctively. Kind of why it was designed as such.

It's June 2023 and I've had my fold 4 since November 2022 with 0 issues. That's exactly how I've been closing it since day one. I love my Fold.

I sometimes do this and the screen is fine. These folding displays are durable enough to handle a fingernail. Thnxs for the tip

REAL tip: Do a Tick ✔ with both your thumb and index finger on both hands firmly at the bottom of your phone but with your other fingers supporting the phone with your palms facing up and inwards as if you're holding a book, with both lower corners of the phone frame resting between the tick you made with your fingers. Your thumbs will naturally rest on the space right beside the middle plastic at the bottom. Press your thumb on the bottom frame of the phone at that spot, not on the plastic piece. You will naturally close the phone into the V shape and still be able to firmly control it to avoid snapping it shut which can damage the screen without doubt. You can controllably close it slowly and softly this way.
