My Genuine Opinions on Star Wars Hunters

Star Wars Hunters has released & I wanted to give a few first impressions of the game.

Started playing it yesterday. So fun. My favorite hunter so far is Sentinel. Pulling in the two extra troopers can be so clutch when Grozz charges you. Basically sacrifice your minion and Grozz is stuck beating him to a pulp so you can blast him to smithereens.

matches are a little too short, but it feels like the team cares about the characters and lore which makes me smile! sentinel is a lot of fun and has great skins, and the starter girl with her rocket launcher has a suit which references durge.

I think it is good to have more competition in sw games. i hope it does well so companies may consider doing more in future. I am fine with there being no definitive statements on the games canoninity as it just makes sense to have this be just a fun legends shooter with no canon implications !

All I know is Sentinel looks like an awesome character. I mean, they all seem like they could be interesting characters in terms of lore potential, since they are a bunch of canon characters that became arena fighters after the war, we just don't know anything about them yet.

My only complaints are them locking Aran behind a $10 paywall, a few lag issues on occasion, and that essentially everything costs crystals

Been playing in the USA since Mexico soft launch back in Feb 2022. Played about 1, 800 matches so far, but a few of my friends online have played 10-15k matches. The game is wonderfully balanced (a couple heroes need tweaking after a recent update), and they have added a lot of neat enhancements, hunters, maps, modes, events, and ranked mode along the way. We have been excited for global launch for over 2-3 years now. Finally glad to see it arrive.

I really really enjoyed it, great gameplay and above Everage graphics for being such a free game, all the characters fell and played differently from each other. There was no overlap, there is no technical difficulties either, I’m hoping the game gets a lot of support in the future and they had more heroes and more maps and game modes because I can see me spending a lot of time on this game in the future

It's a fun game to pick up and play a quick match, honestly. Not sure if it'll go beyond that

I've been playing this game for the past few days and I was genuinely surprised. Usually the past mobile games have been pretty lackluster (the turn based card one is probably fine but it's not really my type) however they went all out with this one!. I would give this a 9.5/10 if 1. It was a PC release instead of being mobile (in my dreams lmao, they're set on a course to disappoint all the pc players) and 2. If they made it paid access and removed some of the pay2win elements (which I understand are necessary to keep the game running when it's free). I don't mind the rest of the content like skins being paid for though I suppose a lot of people are bothered by that. Before that happens I'd give the game a 7/10. I haven't given too many hunters a chance as I just main sentinel but the characters feel pretty well balanced and actually have something unique to offer during battles and I enjoy the extreme emphasis on teamwork.

Only complaints get it on ps5 and xbox and pc for performance and make the heroes free for every one
