Is the 2020 Honda Fit a GOOD hatchback VALUE or OUTDATED?

The Honda Fit proves big things come in small packages. This versatile hatchback offers a ton of interior space and Honda's great reliability. Under the hood is a 1.5 inline-4 producing 130HP and mated to a 6-speed transmission or CVT. It's exterior has many Honda styling cues. On the inside you will find lots of space but not a lot of 21st century tech. Is the 2020 Honda Fit a good value or old news?

"Outdated" is hard to define. A car that can go 15 years and 200, 000 miles with nothing but oil changes, wiper blades, brake pads and tires never goes out of style.

I had a 2012 Honda fit. You're not kidding about the room. I bought it because I was able to fit my entire drumset, plus another person and myself. It was ridiculous. I don't know what kind of sorcery Honda did to that vehicle.

The 15 Honda Fit was my first new car at 6’5 I was plenty comfortable and had enough room with no issues and kids sitting behind me. If you’re debating between this and a Yaris or Versa, it’s not even close.

I have a 2007 Honda Fit Sport that, knock on wood, is still going strong. I’m 45 years old & have only had 3 cars. Buy a new Honda, drive it until you can’t anymore. Repeat.
Thanks for your reviews; best out there! 🤩

The Fit is a great car that's affordable, reliable, roomy inside, and fuel efficient. It's the perfect city car, and perfect for parking in tight spots and driving on narrow roads. It's popular in Asia for sure.

The Fit is known as the Jazz overseas

I just bought one, had to go to the other side of the state to find one with manual but it's worth it, Honda really does still make the best sticks in the business.

I have a 2008 Honda Fit that I bought new...it has 391, 000 Kms and still going strong. The black under the wipers hasn’t faded.

I recently bought one...a Fit EX, 2016, with very low mileage. I LOVE it!! Just to add to your review, which was good, the steering wheel IS telescopic and raises up and down also...it IS adjustable. I know you didn't seem to care for the interior...hard plastic, etc but they are able to make it more affordable instead of real cushy throughout the inside...comfortable seats tho. Also...the seats of the back seats lift up and lock to give more transport room behind the front seats which is AWESOME! And the back seats will recline a bit and the back of the front seats recline back flat so you could sit in the back seat, slightly reclined, and stretch your legs out onto the front seat to rest if you wanted/needed to. The cargo room is amazing, as you said, and when the backs of the back seats are fully down they actually lay flat- flat...lots of room!! Yeayy! AMAZING little car with a TON of room!! Handles nicely for me also and is a fun, comfy not so little, car!
Also, if they updated the A/C controls and seat levers to electronic etc it would not be as affordable.
I just LOVE it! So glad I bought it!!!

We have a '19 Fit and absolutely love it! Test drove several similar vehicles and kept coming back to the Fit. I realize they may not be for everyone, but for a 3 person family with a dog, as a second vehicle, it works great for us!

If Honda had brought the HYBRID Fit version to USA, I would have bought one weeks ago. 😕 Come on Honda!

I have this exact model/color. Love my Fit! It “fits” everything I need in a car: economy, abundant interior space, consistently excellent mpg’s (recently averaged 50 mpg highway, not even using Econ!), versatility, reliability, style, music options, and overall satisfactory driving experience. Fitastic! ❤️👍🏽🙂

I would say its outdated but its very reliable and at the end of the day that's what really counts.

Only an American salesperson would talk about storage for "Slim Jims", "Twinkies" and "Jolly Ranchers". Only an American. LOL

I'm a big, fat 6ft+ guy and I find the Fit very comfortable to drive.

I feel like this car would be insanely fun on a track with like 10 other fits in some sort of race. 6 speed manual of course

You totally skipped the "Magic Seat"; those things are fantastic!

You don't need a fancy car to impress others.. a roof, air-con and affordable fuel is all that matter

I own a 13 Fit. I love it. Great gas mileage, feels open, and it’s tough. I hit a deer on the highway during the rut doing 70MPH at 11 in the morning... $7000+ in damages, almost totaled but she came back to me. Airbags didn’t deploy because of how the deer hit (off to the drivers side not head on; the deer actually tried to jump over my car when it connected and didn’t damage the front at all just the windshield, roof, drivers side and back door). I came out completely unscathed. It also surprisingly has a lot of room inside. Granted I’m 5’2” and my favorite part is being able to lay down the back seats completely flat. It comes in handy when at the drag strip on Sunday. Instead of a chair pop the hatch, lay down the seats, put down a blanket and relax.
