What do you do if it won’t let you remove your account the option isn’t there

Don't know if it helps but i had this issue with an infinite login loop within my xbox app. I had previously changed my new email address in my Microsoft account and set it as my primary email address. After having problems logging into the Xbox app, I set the primary email address back to the old email and after a restart I was able to log back in with the old email address. Hope it helps one or two others.
