Using the Mirror and Radial Repeat Tools in Adobe Illustrator - How To Tutorial 2021

Hey ya'll! In this episode I show you how to use the new-ish mirror and radial tools from the repeat menu in Adobe Illustrator 2021. I tried these out for a client and loved them so I remade something similar to show you how I applied these new techniques.

hi, I loved this tutorial and it really helped me with my design. I just wanted to ask, how to I convert this effect back to a normal layer? I created a pattern just like you did in the tutorial, but it wouldn't allow me to use the live paint bucket tool on it to colour it in? not sure why. sorry I'm new to illustrator and might be a simple thing to do but I searched all over the internet for it!

How do you get rid of the radial repeat sliders so that you can move an individual shape and not move the other shapes it is connected to? If you turn it off then all the shapes disappear except for the original.
