Galloping full speed bareback

I just got Bouncer in June, and he has already proven to be an amazing horse. We got him for freeee! :) In the behind the scenes of this video, he leapt 10 feet over a ditch and I flew off. xD And YES I should have been wearing a helmet, and I realize that.

As a bareback rider myself I can say, that galloping bareback is SO MUCH FUN! But then comes the unexpected trot....and you almost fall off...

I just read a comment with 12 replies telling her why she doesn't have a helmet. They said, and I quote Gilliahn P.
"A helmet can't save you from breaking your neck or back. And plus, helmets aren't as big a deal for more advanced riders. If that was her 2nd lesson or so, she would have a helmet on. But she most likely grew up riding horses so its not that big of a deal." (I don't mean to make this a big debate) when riding horses, you should ALWAYS wear a helmet. I don't care if you have grown up riding or if your a professional. Wear your helmet. It might not help you when it come to your back or your neck but it does when it comes to your head. I don't think ya'll want your brains being splattered on the floor. Olympic jumpers wear helmets and most of them have been riding for years. There are absolutely no excuses when it comes to wearing helmets. They protect you. End of story. In this clip, I don't really think she was being the safest but, lets be fair, this was 8 years ago.

Oh gosh, please don't scroll down if you are a equestrian. The commments get worse, and if you don't want to get upset, you should stop reading now. Everything is about why she is "kicking" the horse (which is btw absolutely normal and a help for the horse to understand what to do. Look how horses treat other horses normally, this is quite rude.), a few insulting comments, the discussion about wearing a helmet (i think everyone should decide it himself, but a helmet can safe your life) and a few people who think, bareback riding would be bad for the horse or the rider (it is not, but sometimes it is more comfortable for both to use a saddle.) I am pretty sure that i am quite good in riding, because i ride since my birth and have own horses since then. I am sixteen btw. Please excuse my maybe horrible english and shut up if you have got no clue about riding. Bye bye🖐
Edit: sorry, I did not enough research. My horses have no problem with bareback riding, like any other horses I´ve ridden since that. But obviously can it be bad for some, so it´s all about the horse. Maybe her´s is just one of the horses who doesn´t care about being ridde without saddle.

Galloping is so much fun! With my horse, I don’t have to ask for it much, as soon as I get her over to the field, she’s extremely familiar with it and knows that she’s allowed to go as fast as she can lol 😂
