Thats a trip. While riding my bike this morning, I had a throbbing tooth ache. But, when I opened my mouth and let the cool air in, the pain subsided. Cool stuff.

Undoubtedly putting in cold water or ice cold water relieves it immediately

I had to keep cold water on a tooth before because it became infected decayed etc to the point I couldn’t sleep it got so bad. Quick antibiotics and a root canal later it was fixed now I have another tooth killing me half a year later ugh

Luckwarm salt water helps me time to time ....hate this pain...like I'm highly pregnant and I'm dealing wth this

Yeah see i have ice water on my tooth like inside I swish it around and that helps but the catch is is now my tooth goes into excruciating pain when there isn't cold water on it

It works better to use hot water compress rather than cold water compress it takes down swelling and pain

I put an ice cube on top of it it deals with pain but it does hurt when I put the ice cube on it

I honestly don’t like the cold compress I think heat is better because it feels so soothing and the ice makes it ache even more. I have a bottom tooth on right side of my face and next to a wisdom tooth well the tooth broke off. The enamel part. That thing has been giving me hell and I plan on doing something about it very soon too so I can get this thing took out of my mouth. I don’t care I just want the pain to stop and leave me alone for good I’m tired of this shit excuse the expression..

should first apply warm and then cold compress for somewhat long term relief.
Applying only cold compress gives relief for a very short time.

Today ( 7-25-2022 ) I drank some ice water and swished it in my mouth and even crunched some ice, however i had some delayed onset pain a few minutes after doing that

My problem is that I have to constantly have water in my mouth or I experience excruciating pain. If I literally have to water in mouth ever two minutes or I get throbbing pain that turns into pulsating and it finally moves to my jaw. I honestly can't deal with this shit I am already experiencing chronic pain with my neck, shoulder, and my thoracic spine.
