THE Sonos amp is a 2 channel for 2 speakers if your set up of 4 speakers are not set up in parallel you may want to get a speaker select box with impedance matching cost about 40 bucks. because dropping the impedance in 1/2 by this setup puts a load on the amp and the amp with run hot and can fail down the road

Couple questions -
1) If you start playing music and the volume control in one room is turned to 0 is the only way to get sound in that room to physically turn the nob or can you do it remotely as well?
2) Same idea - if the physical volume nob is set to 5%, can you use the app to remotely turn it up to 75% or do you always need to use the volume control nob?

What volume controls are you using? Also, are the den speakers both plugged into the left port of the amp? Or is one on left and the other right?

I am setting up the same config, even with the volume controls. Curious what speakers you ran to the left output on amp and which ones you ran to right on amp? Do I do a left speaker from one room and a left from another room in the left output, and then rights from both rooms into right output? Thanks

That one volume knob, assume it's a potentiometer, will not control stereo. You will need a separate knob for each channel

Question, I set up the amp for my patio speakers, I am having trouble switching from another room to the amp to play the music outside in the APP. When I set up the amp, it didnt let create a "room" for just my patio. Did you face any of these issues?
