1:40 there is another possibility that dino and lou are able to track down Tommy as well. As you can see Tommy's taxi license are made by LHPD (lost heaven police departement). The LHPD however during that time was on Morello's pocket because the chief of police are working with morello mentioned by Paulie (during molotov party). So thats why dino and lou are able to bribe the police to find a taxi number of the salieri family that got away.

And this all had 3 gigs... cool. Maybe some bug fixes. And one more thing the pic of Tommy, Paulie and Sam is in the menu.

This was definitely an interesting origin story for Tommy, finding out he actually has an older sister and brother. I'd been cool if you got to meet them in the game somehow.

I think everyone was hoping for things that actually benefit the game, like bugfixes, improved performance, more stuff for free ride (trains and trams, gangsters, money, etc). Looking at the badly edited image of the family (which it's a real photo of people from that era) tells me this was done rather quickly. It's nice to know Tommy's origins anyway, but I think even from the days of the original game it was already speculated he was born in 1900. I would be surprised if this isn't the final update, by now the game has been mostly forgotten by casual gamers and non-fans of the series.

i hope Hangar 13 could add some more depths into Mafia DE like back stories, flashbacks where the original doesn't have, or at least turn it into DLCs. It could be about Tommy's family in the old country, how Tommy arrived in Empire Bay with his family (like the intro of Mafia 2 when Vito was a little kid) to him working as a road crew, how Sam and Paulie met before Mafia 1 begins, Don Salieri when he came into the life as a young made man with young Don Morello as his companion and Frank a loyal friend.

These should have been in the game from the very beginning. It's obvious that they only thought about this at the very last minute and added these in the game probably after hearing people complain about the lack of background story for Tommy. What I also find incredibly ironic is that we barely get to see Tommy interacting with his family (especially with his daughter) despite the game hammering the idea of "family" into our heads again and again. Well... better late than never, I suppose. 🤷

Woah, so they confirmed that Tommy's mother's name is none other than *Maria*, that's interesting to say the least... And she gave birth to Tommy at age 26 according to 3:38.

This makes it completely possible for Mafia II's "Maria Agnello" (who helps Vito break into the Office of Price Administration) to be Tommy's mother after witness protection. If she was 26 in the year 1900, she would be 71 in the year 1945, when that missionn took place in Mafia II.
