Looked like Tommy in the Remake accepted his death and knew it was coming compared to him being somewhat surprised in the original and Mafia 2 which is a pretty nice detail they added in

I like how Tommy accepts his fate, Instead of being surprised in the OG, he gives a resigned "Yes", His fate sealed and a little smirk to boot, knowing his family will be safe at the cost of his life.

Tommy accepting his fate rather than feeling surprised gives him a whole lot more of redemption imho.

but replacing the iconic heart felt speech with the Family is forever speech kinda mellows its down..I still like it but I love the speech more.

Dang that new model for Vito is gorgeous, and the Joe one basically confirms that the man in Mafia 3 in the cutscene with Galante. I know it was all but confirmed already basically, but this Joe has an almost identical face.

I'm glad the devs didn't alter Vito and Joe's character models. Nostalgia hit me so hard there. 😢

Here's what I like, the first tommy looked at them straight away and is confused, but with the new tommy, when they say his real name he knew what would happen because he paused and accepted his faith, love the realism they put.
