Whilst I really enjoy the simplicity of the Arduino boards for offline hard wired green house automation, it's a real struggle to integrate newer ble/ZigBee sensors without loosing the default online access offered by the sensor manufacturers.

For example the temperature and humidity sensors offered by Xiaomi work great with their hub, but add a Arduino to the mix and it doesn't work all to well.

Will you be working with any sensor manufacturers to allow dual access/open protocols in tandem with their hubs?

Currently I'm doubling up sensors, one to use with a manufacturers hub for data logging and alerts and a second set for automation via an Arduino.
