Big Woods RUT Funnel? #deerhunting #mountainbucks #bigwoodsbucks

This location is at the top of a subtle draw where it meets a big clearcut (roughly 5-6 years old). In the last video, I showed a big scrape and talked about possibly setting up back towards the draw where more trails intersected during the rut. This is that draw.

I found a buck bed in those hemlocks on the edge of the cut, trails running parallel to the cut and also perpendicular running up each side of the draw meeting at this location. In the bottom of the draw there were multiple scrapes and crossings in what I would consider a thermal hub.

There’s still missing links here as I’m not sure where the does bed the most. I found some beds inside the cut, which would make this setup great for bucks cruising this bottom side. But, I need to walk it more to really learn how they’re using it.
