Secret Highway Stealth Shelter Camping

preview_player
Показать описание

The first in a series of "permanent" stealth shelters placed strategically along the highway. I had a risky camping trip with a little more excitement than I was hoping for. Simple shelter setup which I will be improving on in the future. Hunkered down and had a blast as usual. Happy New Years everyone!

Makes me almost shed a tear when he mentions ‘Beautiful Wife’. May she Rest In Peace, and may all her loved ones recover.

Never did I think I would find happiness in watching someone sleep next to a highway for 40 minutes

The way he's thoroughly convinced that this is Mission impossible-level subterfuge is hilarious. This channel is addictive.

Steve, regardless of how objectively not ideal his current situation is: "It doesn't get any better than this."

This was your best one yet. Stumbling through the bush in a panic trying to avoid security; it appeals to the mischievous teenager in all of us.

I'm glad he focuses his stealthiness on camping and not being a serial killer

Fun fact: In Sweden we don’t have to go stealthy, here we have this awesome ancient thing called allemansrätten (all mans right) to camp where ever the hell we want for about 48 hours, even on peoples property (!) as long as it’s not in their sight. Just remember to leave the spot just like you found it. Germany is another ballgame! Love your your channel Steve, keep up the good work!

If I'm just a guy driving past and see someone camping I honestly might just be pretty jealous and get on with my day

"I am doing some stealth camping next to the highway." Queue chainsaw. I had to laugh so hard ... What an end to 2020. That was perfect. Happy New Year, Steve!

The average security guard doesn’t want to confront the unknown, in the forest, after dark. They are (Poorly) paid and there job description is “ To observe and report” I really like your videos, they remind me of my youth. Thanks from Portugal.

Friendly neighborhood security guard here, I work armed security for a hospital now, but used to do contract security, which occasionally had me planted at construction sites. Unless you're actively on the job site or blocking access to it, you're unlikely to ever hear from us. As far as what authority they have, it's complicated and based on local laws and agency contracts/connections, guards can be anything from just observe and report all the way to bonded and deputized with authorities similar to a police officer. In my career I have only ran off one individual with a tent, he had erected it in front of a driveway to a facility I was posted at, I explained he was blocking the entrance and he quickly moved, that was it. Love the vids, makes me and the wife want to do some camping!

Literally the most terrifying episode I've seen yet... I'm not too scared of wild animals... but... people finding me in the woods... 1000% terrifying...
