Urban Stealth Camping With Hammock In Residential Area

I secretly set up camp in a forested area, trying to remain as silent and undetected as possible due to the legal nature of random camping in the city. I finally tried out my cheap solid fuel stove and it worked very well. Made dinner, had some pretty good beer appropriately called "Happy Camper". I decided I should have a small fire as the night continued. Just me on my usual camping adventures :) Hunker down my friends.

Here's why people love Steve. He brings vac-pac meat but forgets to bring a knife . . . . then . . . . Eats with a miserable little plastic spoon, only to fund the real fork he brought, AFTER he finishes the meal. He represents everyone who's ever gone camping. Thank you Steve!

You're a madman. Starting your video in the middle of a sentence, camping in sketchy places. Keep up the good work.

It's illegal to sleep outside on the ground. If only our ancestors could see us now.

This video is over 2 years old, I’ve watched it multiple times, and it’s still so enjoyable every time. It’s amazing how rewatchable Steve’s videos are. They’re so fun and relaxing and comforting. Thank you, Steve. Keep up the great work.

Coming from Scandinavia the idea of camping in the forest being illegal is so strange

In case you've wondered if he does the 'Bear Grylls' thing, and sleeps in a plush hotel between filming, just look at his face when he wakes up in the morning. It's clearly the face of someone who slept in a hammock in the woods all night.

Steve’s respect for nature is astounding, he’s a class act

It all looks so simple. It is planned out to parculiar detail. He can't have a full pack that would show the obvious intention to camp in the park. Yet he had all the elements required, including the camp fire, and enough room left over in his pack to pick up the litter. Many lessons learned from this, Steve. Thanks!

Man, I'm 31 now and ive lived like this for basically 17 years. Of all these kind of channels yours is the best as you get across that nervousness of being caught and your videos have a legitimate feeling to them. Basically you've inspired me to start my own channel for how to do this in England where it's illegal to wild camp anywhere in the country but hundreds of people have no choice but to do so. Maybe I can help some people steer themselves out of shop doorways and Into safer more secluded areas.

Homeless skills are something a lot of us should develop.

Awesome spot despite the traffic of people in the morning. I'm glad the little fire worked out for you, it really does tie the camp together. The rice looked good, but I was a bit iffy about the breakfast burrito. Definitely a great stealther.. and it makes my heart happy that beautiful wife commented on the video. Cheers Steve, I'm glad you're still out there being a great steward of nature and camping with care

Thank you heaps Steve, for being who you are. My partner and I, are down-under. We camp full-time, probably for the rest of our lives now, we love your videos, and specially important to us, is how you are so natural. Cheers bro, from Stephen & Mary

Recently came across Steve and I can’t stop watching his videos. Viewing this one hunkered down in my hammock in the in the English countryside, avoiding farmers and game keepers.

Me seeing my first Steve video: Why would anyone watch this?

Me 5 videos in: Not gonna lie how he talks and what he does is really relaxing and calming.

I may have watched several of Steve's videos before this one in 2019, but this one really got me hooked on Steve's camping adventures. I liked and subscribed and chose the ringing bell - for all notifications after this video. I've never been disappointed in any of his videos. This August 29, 2019 entry is my favorite stealth camping video. Thank you, Steve, and may you rest in peace, Jess.

I'll be honest bud, when you said "you might as well sub if watched this far" you earned a new sub who is really excited to see more of your shenanigans.
