BEST SUPPLEMENT TO TAKE WHILE BEING ON A GLP-1

I don’t have diabetes. Just started this week on the 2.5 mg. I’ve had no side effects. I still have my appetite to a degree, but def. have been eating slower and eating smaller portions. As someone with ADHD who struggles with dopamine regulation, my hunger cues can be erratic. This is definitely helping.

I started on the 2.5 and I was woefully underprepared for the side effects. Unfortunately my doctor didn’t discuss the possible side effects and talked about only the potential results. While the results are undeniably great all around and I’m glad I’m on mounjaro, the initial side effects hit me hard. The medication essentially forced me to eat more healthy otherwise my side effects would keep me from work. For me, the worst was the sulfur burps and the diarrhea. I mean GOOD LORD my burps were so AWFUL. It was worse than a hot fart. And the diarrhea would keep me on the toilet for 30+ minutes just pooping brown water. I had to look up the side effects on TikTok and realized that me eating my normal unhealthy greasy fast foods was only gonna make it worse. So I’ve been eating noticeably less fast food and if I do it’s in small quantities for fear of sulfur burps and diarrhea 😂 and honestly it’s kept my sugar down and I’ve lost around 20 lbs 😃. I’ve moved on to the 5 ml dosage and waiting for my next doctor visit to see if she recommends the 7.5. It’s been a journey but a very worthwhile one. Who knew I just had to be slightly traumatized into not eating fast food to get a little healthier 😂

Going into my 8th week on 2.5 and planning to stay on this dose at least through week 12. Down 14 lbs and still having good appetite/food noise suppression. At first, it was challenging to get my minimum 1300+ calories & 130 gms protein, but it helped me enormously to plan out each day's meals in advance. To offset muscle loss I do indoor rowing and free weight training on alternate days 6 days a week.

Me!! I have no desire to eat and very little makes me extremely full. On one hand I love it and on the other I don’t, because as you said, nutrition is so important. I’ve been on 2.5, 5, 10 and have felt this way on each dose. I’ve lost 29 lbs in 12 weeks. I’m very happy with that. I noticed on the 10 I had hunger pains at the end of the dose which is something I didn’t have on the lower dosages.

I was relieved when I realized it was common to star thinking of my favorite foods again quite strongly on day 5 … At first I was like woah woah what’s this about lol (especially after those first 4 days of no food chatter )

I had a Dr appointment today going up to 7.5mg now. Dr kept me on 2.5mg for 2 months & I did 5mg for months because I wasn't ready for 7.5mg after 1 month. Appetite on the 5mg in the beginning was almost non-existent. But now I'm ready to go up. My 1st injection on 7.5mg will be this sunday.. 🤞🏼 Praying I don't have any problems getting my prescription & no crazy side effects.

Nice video, I'd say that's pretty accurate but I'd also add, if your weight loss rate is still going at a good clip (3 or more pounds a week) you can stay on a dose if it's still working, weight loss is consistent, side effects minimal, benefits banging. No reason to move up. Reason I say this I had zero for side effects on 2.5 & 5mg but I was losing fast and efficiently on 5mg, I went to 7.5mg anyway and got pretty sick 5 of 7 days. It felt much like I think an overdose might feel like and I think it overcorrected my insulin issues (if you don't have insulin or glucose issues this will most likely not happen to you & you'll be fine) but i went back to 5mg and then tried 7.5mg again after that month. Just my $0.02. Least dose with maximum effectiveness should probably be the way to decide. Of course check with your medical provider.

I started 3 days ago, 2.5 mg, NO side effects, appetite has minimally suppressed, BUT I already was eating clean, green, lean and doing so in small window each day, intermittent fasting. I’m very hungry at 6:00 PM on Mounjaro! (note: no sweets, purified water only). I don’t lose weight so I got this. Hoping the dual actions it possesses (semaglutide does not) would yield weight loss for my stubborn metabolism. I’m bummed out, no ounces loss and still hungry. 💔😩

❤Thank you dear for the advice. I always come back to your channel when I have a question about Mounjaro.
I took my last dose of 7.5 mg and it was the most toleratable one until now. However I lost more weight with it than the other previous two. I’ve lost 8 kilos in the last 12 weeks. And I started having loose skin despite hitting the gym twice a week. That’s why I’m thinking to keep my current dose for another month, to give my body a time to cope with the changes, and my muscles to tone up a little bit, before losing more fat, if you know what I mean.

I started on 2.5mg and now taking 7.5mg. It's been one year since I started. My starting weight was 226 now at 170. I've only lost 5 lbs the past three months. Seems like I have to go up a dose every 3 months.

Thank you for your videos they have really helped me along this journey. 🫶

New follower here. Did my first month on 2.5 with no issues. Dr said I can get aggressive and begin 7.5 this next injection day.

I’m struggling to know when to move up to 7.5, seems my body is getting used to the meds quickly. On it for 3 months and started at 2.5 mg. Only 5 mg now. This last month I noticed my appetite was coming back, gained 5 pounds back etc. But I do good on the 5 mg for the 3 days after the shot but after that it’s like I didn’t take anything. I am still struggling with bad fatigue 😢.

Thanks for the video. Today is my one-month anniversary since I started taking Mounjaro at the 2.5 level. My doctor's appointment is also today and I expect him to move me to the 5.0 level. At first, I was extremely tired and HAD TO go to sleep after work several days in a row (5-6 p.m.)--not many other symptoms though. The 3rd week, I noticed a marked difference in my appetite--it had lessened a lot. However, this 4th week, I have felt the hungries coming back. :( I hate to say I've ONLY lost 5 pounds in one month, but that is what happened. I've read a lot and found that this can happen and not everyone loses tens of pounds in the first month. I feel I've lost inches, but didn't measure before starting. We'll see what the doctor

Hi Chad, like I commented on your other videos, I am not experiencing any side effects while on 2.5 MG and 5 MG of Mounjaro. My latest blood work did show that this is working, as my A1C was at an 8. My doctor said next to the test result on his portal that I will need to still go up to 7.5 MG, as he wants this lowered. My other lab results were great. My bad cholesterol was down a lot, still a tad bit high, but not bad by my standards. I still weighed in at 239 lbs, what I weighed in February at my yearly physical. Like I stated in some of your other videos, I have no appetite suppressant, zero weight loss, and my sugar cravings have gone through the roof while on this medication. I lead an active lifestyle. I work two jobs, workout 5-7 days a week, including both weight and cardio sessions. I'm still remaining positive while on this medication. I am working with a nutritionist. He says the reason for my increased appetite is due to me going to the gym that many days a week, also I work in a warehouse/delivery job, so I'm constantly moving my body. Anywho, thank you for making this video. Take care. - Mike

I just moved up to 5 after a month. I’ve lost 17 lbs in a month. I get worried I’m losing too fast. But I’m so thankful my glucose levels are dropping and I’m not spiking. I do get nervous that I never feel like eating.
